Hackley Commits to Electronic Music Archive - June 2005 The Detroit Public Library's E. Azalia Hackley Collection ( www.thehackley.org ) has begun to form a Detroit Electronic Music Archive (D.E.M.A.). An opening reception was held June 11, 2005 in Old Fine Arts on the third floor of the Detroit Public Library's main branch building facing Woodward Avenue. The event featured a live electronic performance by local artists Alvin Hill ( munkstrunk.com ) and Colin Zyskowski ( www.colinzyskowski.com ). The Metro Times ( www.metrotimes.com ), Detroit's most read alternative weekly, signed on as an initial sponsor of the event.
